Delta Hotel, Majorca

I’ve just returned from a lovely four night break at Delta Hotel, Majorca.

This was a budget break, coming in at under £350 each for three nights. As a group of five, all we wanted was somewhere to relax with all inclusive food and drink.

We spent the weekend drinking vast amounts of Cava, beer, wine, and even made up our own cocktails by asking for chocolate milkshake with brandy and banana liquor. The “local spirits” might put some people off, but we kept an open mind and weren’t disappointed.

The rest of the guests were very friendly and mainly families. The entertainment was cheesy but enjoyable, especially after a few drinks. The entertainment was mostly live bands but also included magic shows for the kids, and various other forms of cabaret.

The food was a little simple but generally very good consisting of grilled fish every night, with all kinds of meat and also a good selection of veggie options. The salad bar was always well stocked too and offered good variety.

There were certainly enough staff, all of whom were very happy to help out. Especially Antonio at the bar who was never too busy to assist and exhibit excellent customer service.

To conclude, Delta Hotel is a fun, budget option that I’d recommend to families and couples alike. The hotel sometimes came over as slightly worn, but this mostly added to the charm. Also, as it was less than an hour’s transfer from Palma Airport it was ideal for a long weekend.
